Nothing makes me feel more inspired and grateful to be alive than early mornings, just as the sun is rising. The idea for the cowl was conceived on a such morning in the late autumn. Early mornings at that time of year mean frost covered pines, cedars, and firs in our yard that are made otherworldly by the sunshine glinting off of them.

The Frosty Pines Cowl is knit in the round. It features herringbone stitch in the round and how to knit 1-stitch cables without a cable needle.
